Our Story
A Legacy of Education Since 1963
V.M. Public School was founded in 1963 by Mr. M.A. Rangoonwala with a vision to provide affordable, quality education for all.
From its beginnings, the school has remained committed to creating educational opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds. Over the years, VMPS has evolved with the changing needs of education while maintaining its focus on academic development, character building and the holistic growth of every learner.
As a coeducational institution, VMPS provides students with a learning environment that encourages academic achievement alongside creativity, physical development and participation in a wide range of activities.
Today, the school combines its long-standing educational legacy with contemporary approaches to learning, including STEAM integration in Science teaching and a thoughtfully designed extracurricular programme.

Preparing Students for the Next Chapter
V.M. Public School is now affiliated with the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB).
The school’s first batch appeared for the AKU-EB examination in April/May 2026, achieving a 100% pass result. This milestone represents the culmination of careful academic preparation, student commitment and the dedicated efforts of our well-qualified teachers.
The achievement reflects VMPS’s continuing commitment to nurturing students and preparing them to meet the demands of higher education and the world beyond school.
